Bridal makeup in Kent: choosing the right look for you

One of the most common questions I get from brides is: "What sort of makeup should I have for my wedding?"

The answer is that there isn't one perfect bridal makeup look. Some brides want to look incredibly natural. Others want more definition and glamour. Some rarely wear makeup day-to-day and want to feel completely transformed, while others wear makeup regularly and want their wedding makeup to feel like an elevated version of their everyday look.

Soft glam bridal makeup

Soft glam is one of my favourite bridal makeup styles because it sits beautifully between natural and glamorous. Think luminous skin, softly defined eyes, beautifully shaped brows, subtle contouring and a polished lip. It's glamorous enough to feel special, but soft enough that you still recognise yourself.

Natural bridal makeup

Natural bridal makeup doesn't necessarily mean wearing very little makeup. A beautiful natural bridal look can involve carefully perfected skin, subtle definition around the eyes, softly enhanced brows and a flattering lip colour. The key is that everything looks seamless and intentional.

Full-glam bridal makeup

If you're someone who loves makeup, there's absolutely no reason why you can't go for a more glamorous bridal look. Defined eyes, fuller lashes, sculpted cheekbones and a more noticeable lip can all work beautifully for a wedding.

The most important thing is that your makeup reflects you! Your wedding day isn't the time to choose a makeup style simply because it's currently trending on TikTok or Instagram.
